Highways England "Vehicle safety checks"
Highways England has launched a TV campaign emphasising the importance of pre-drive vehicle checks.
Launched before the East holiday sand the onset of busy road networks, the campaign is aimed at addressing the incidents that are directly linked to lack of vehicle checks and poor maintenance.
Highways England state that fewer breakdowns will lead to fewer incidents within the network which will keep traffic flowing, reduce stress and tension amongst drivers.
